Founder and President Lisa
Smith is an innovative leader
in healthcare financing and
business management. She has
extensive experience working
with senior management healthcare
teams, both from the insurer’s
perspective and the provider’s
perspective.
In her current consulting
role – and during her previous
20 years of service at the
Greater Rochester IPA and
at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield
– Lisa Smith negotiated full-risk,
partial-risk and non-risk
payment arrangements and contracts
between payers and providers.
She also has designed, developed
and implemented a host of
managed-care benefit products.
Lisa Smith holds an MBA from
the Simon Graduate School
of Business at the University
of Rochester and a bachelor’s
of science degree in Mathematics
from Rochester Institute of
Technology. She currently
serves as an adjunct professor
at Roberts Wesleyan College
in the Masters in Health Administration
program.
Lisa serves on the Webster Central School District School Board and is chair of their Audit Committee as well as co-chair of the Monroe County School Board Association Legislative Committee. She is Treasurer for the Perinatal Network of Monroe County, and is President of the Rochester Chapter of New York Medical Group Management Association. Lisa is also a member of the Board of the Rochester Chapter of the Health Care Financial Management Association.
